winners

I am running around here like a crazy lady right now. I am trying to finish up so many things in preparation before our winter holidays. I have just closed down most of my online store - just a few items remain available, but they will all ship after christmas, most likely in the new year. I will have my journey and pocket books available then, too.

It is such a relief, getting all of these many little things done. Big Sigh.

One of the last things for me to do is find the winners for the "To make a tree quilt giveaway" Here the random generator goes again...

And the winners are: Emily, Cassandra, and Sue!

I would love to create this tree quilt - maybe in time for our child's first winter!

Hey Sharilyn! I was just thinking of doing a project like this! I am SO SO SO excited! I hope I win! Yeah, these little trees would be so comforting down in Florida and would make me feel more at home...it reminds me SO much of Canada! Yay!!

I love your tree quilt. I live in the Adirondack Mountains and to me it is an every day of the year quilt since I love pine trees of all sorts. Today I am snowed in literally, it is snowing like crazy and I can't go anywhere (kinda a nice feeling). I would love to be a winner, I love your choices of fabric. Thanks!

Emily, Cassandra, and Sue, if you haven't heard from me already, please send me an email with your addresses and I will send your little green packages out to you.

I may be away from this place for a little while, so please have yourselves all a sweet and lovely, warm and cozy christmas-time. Be safe, and be sure to take care of yourself, your friends and loved ones, and perhaps even a few strangers, too.

I have been peeking into your little world here for quite some time and thoroughly enjoy every visit. So imagine my joy and surprise, very pleasant surprise, when upon opening my BH&G, there you were!
Thank you for sharing.

Here to echo the BH&G sentiments. I really loved the article. It was serendipitous to see your name there after having just found your blog a week or so before. Such a "lovely" space you have here and in your home.

Thanks for the inspiration, and enjoy your holiday "break".

I'm so sad I didn't win. I'm sure your scraps are much prettier than mine but I'm going to try it with mine anyways. I love this sweet quilt.

I'm also so sad because you're going to be away for awhile. I'm a little in love with your style and just discovered your site so i've read thru all your old posts and now I need new posts, you see. :)

Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. Take care. Nrm-aka norma

I flipped through the latest BH&G issue today and saw an article about you. How cool! And I LOVE your decorating style. Where do you find all those vintage and collectible items? I'm sooo stealing your idea for wall display boxes to showcase little toys and collections!

Thank you so much for the lovely downloads for November and December. They are super-pretty. I used them to make pegs to hang up my Christmas cards with.

Happy Holidays!

I also saw your story in BHG. Your blog is beautiful. You are very inspiring to me. I'm a very organized person, but your ideas make me want to do even better. Your family is precious and your daughter is so so cute! I look forward to reading your blog.

I was standing in the pharmacy the other day and was flipping through a magazine when I spied your rolodex file and said to myself - Oh cool! The person they are featuring has one of Lovely's files. (I call you Lovely if you don't mind.) Then I saw Adelaide and realized that this was your home. I stopped flipping and started reading. It was a delightful interview and your home was showcased beautifully.

I also just saw you in the Jan. issue of Better Homes and Gardens. I was going through the mag., front-to-back like I do, and the first thing I saw was the ABC print. I thought 'someone else has that awesome print, I love it', I then scanned the rest of the page and thought 'wait I "know" this family!' Congratulations!

Add me to the list of people who discovered you in BHG. Your home is so fantastic! It is everything that I wish my home would be if I just had the time to get organized. Armed with the pictures as my inspiration, I've arranged for a day off from work and sans little one to find everything it's place. So amazed by your work, your home, and your adorable little girl! You rock!

I loved seeing your home in BHG! I ripped those pages right out of the mag and put them at the front of my inspiration book :o) I'm all for being organized, but you do it with a quirky flair that I love.

I've been behind in my blog reading but had to comment on these little trees for the tree quilt. They are lovely! I can just imagine an entire cozy quilt made from the happy little trees. Congrats to the winners :)

I hope your Christmas was merry and bright. Here's to a wonderful new year!

I LOVED your tree quilt and was so inspired by it, that despite the million pre-Christmas things to do, I had several late nights and made a little version of it, which I changed a wee bit by foundation piecing and winging the measurements, but stuck to your design. I love trees, and found your design simle and fresh. Thinking about making a bigger one next! You can see a picture of it on my blog. Thanks so much, often visit your blog and really enjoy your ideas.
