Adelaide loves hanging out on up on my work tables, and excitedly insists on this activity almost daily. It makes me kind of nervous, but they are big and strong, and Addie so careful, that she seems to be pretty safe. While she is up on the tables, she may poke around through my papers, or collect up lots of stray little dots, or find a pencil and make a drawing or two, or perhaps stretch all out and check out the ceiling for a while.
To me, this doesn't seem like it would be that appealing (at least on a daily basis), but I guess that being up higher like that a curious little kid feel bigger, and a little more free.
My job for the day is to turn these knit shirts (and one dress) into summer

Kids just love to be where their parents are! I find this with Ethan too. Adelaide is just adorable in that top too. Did you make it?
The pigtails are so cute too!

All of my kids (I have 3) have always loved to sit on my desk. My teens still insist on doing it. I personally prefer the chair. ; )
adelaide is so pretty!!!!! i love all her pics!!
*sigh* i love how girls want to explore bits of paper but my boys just want to jump off tables (including my 15-month old!). ;-)
That is very cute
I remember that I loved to sit on the floor next to my mother and play with her button-collection while she was sewing...It's just a good feeling! Adelaide is very cute and it's great that you let her stay on your table :o)
she is absolutely the cutest! :)
My daughter Rita does the same :-)))
She loves using my work table, pretending she's working. She uses the cell phone to take the orders, plays with everything and loves to draw near the fabrics (which makes me really, really nervous...) :-)))
you're the lucky one...i wish i were home and could do for a living what i love and be by my son a whole day...i miss him so much when i work. your daughter is so cute!
Your daughter has the most beautiful smile. I couldn't help but smile myself when I saw these photos.
Have a great day!
