I have a sneaking suspicion that by time Adelaide is a teenager, I will have dozens of these photographs of her and Elliot sleeping so sweetly together. But I just cannot resist - here is yet another, taken just this afternoon.

Awwwh! They are so cute together. =) And she kinda looks like she's posed to be a lead singer in a rock band. She's mid jump holding her mic out above her head. ; )
That is so sweet. I just want to poke her belly button! We have four cats and our oldest, dearest cat (18 years old) sleeps with our daughter and is so very sweet to her. Just think of all the fond memories they'll have of their feline siblings.
Reminds me that I should take some shots of my little one sleeping. :) I have to tell you that I keep thinking about your post from the other day about the memories that we take with us and how the one you treasure most is your daughter's breath on your cheek. It was so incredibly sweet and I have found myself pausing in those kinds of moments and thinking, "this is the memory I would take with me...."

I love the "air conditioned" belly button. I never get tired of watching my kids sleep. (and I've got alot of pictures of that too!)

have you ever seen the photographs of annelies strba? she's one of my favorite photographers. she took pictures of her daughters - often sleeping - all throughout their lives. really beautiful - you should look her up. your comments made me think of her. cute picture!
